Are you licensed to fly commercially?
Yes. Raven Ridge Media has held an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot certificate since 2017, which means every shoot and every clip is captured legally for commercial use.
What areas do you cover?
We're based in the Southeast and regularly work across the region. For projects farther afield, travel can be arranged — just ask.
Can I license footage of a specific location?
Often, yes — either from existing footage or by capturing it to spec. Tell us the location and how you plan to use it and we'll let you know what's possible.
How does print ordering work right now?
Prints are inquiry-based at the moment. Choose an image and size, send an inquiry, and we'll confirm availability, finish options, and pricing. A direct online store is coming.
What do I actually receive from a commissioned shoot?
That depends on the project — typically edited stills and/or a finished video, delivered digitally. We'll agree on formats, resolution, and delivery up front.
Do you fly in any weather?
Safety and image quality come first, so flights depend on wind, visibility, and airspace. If conditions don't cooperate on a scheduled day, we reschedule.
How is licensing priced?
Licensing depends on how, where, and how long the footage runs, plus exclusivity. Send details on your intended use and we'll provide a quote.
